VMR's current asset portfolio includes two deep-level underground gold mines, Tau Lekoa and Kopanang.
All assets are situated in close proximity to each other, some 250 km south-west of Johannesburg near the town of Orkney.
In total, VMR has an annual gold production capacity in excess of 150,000 oz. VMR has just over 6,000 employees. Our typical employee supports several dependants, most of whom reside in remote rural areas of southern Africa. When considering local suppliers, service providers and specialist contractors, VMR supports the livelihood of several tens of thousands of South Africans.
